The Trust is delighted to announce three new staff appointments.
Across the Atlantic is directed by Te Aroha Devon, one of 22 young explorers on the expedition with climber Sam West and data scientist Jenny Sahng, who are featured in the film. The expedition honoured the centenary of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s final expedition, the Quest, which journeyed to South Georgia and marked the end of the heroic-era of Antarctic exploration.
Historic geomagnetic instruments which began to measure the Earth’s magnetic field from Antarctica in the 1950s have been donated to the Trust by GNS Science.
