Shackleton, Scott, and Hillary embody the qualities of truly exceptional explorers. Their remarkable stories of leadership in the face of adversity have resonated around the world for over 100 years.

By making a gift to the Antarctic Heritage Trust, you conserve their legacy, and create opportunities for young people to connect with and be inspired by the qualities of the heroic Antarctic leaders that you admire.

Your donation will support programmes like our new augmented reality app, which is bringing Antarctica to the world. The app contains two unique AR experiences, Antarctic 3D Artefacts and My Explorer Journal, which allow users to explore Antarctica without leaving the country and bring the world’s most famous fruitcake into their home.

The Trust’s core administration costs are funded by the New Zealand Government. This means that your donation goes directly to the programme. Donations of NZD$5 or more being eligible for a donation tax credit from New Zealand Inland Revenue (New Zealand individual tax payers only, please contact us for international giving options).

As a donor, you’ll receive stories of impact about conservation projects and Inspiring Explorer programme participants. You’ll also be invited to the Trust’s events, giving you the opportunity to hear stories from explorers of yesterday and today.
