A major focus for the Antarctic Heritage Trust is saving Sir Edmund Hillary’s and the IGY/TAE Antarctic legacy. Currently a team of conservators are undertaking work on-site at New Zealand’s scientific facility, Scott Base, to conserve ‘Hillary’s Hut.
